Improvements to the junction of Howard Lane/Moulton Lane

During Working Group discussions regarding traffic calming, concerns about road safety at the junction of Howard Lane/Moulton Lane junction were noted.

WNC/Kier’s solution was to make the crossing safer for pedestrians by building out the footway (see below). Concerns were raised about the ability of the school busy to safely turn the corner if the junction was made narrower. WNC/Kier have agreed to mark out the area using cones and assess the impact during the school bus route (morning and afternoon).

Whilst it is anticipated that Kier officers will be on site under taking the monitoring, it is essential that parishioners do not move the cones.
