Parish Council Secures Removal of Unauthorised Clothing Recycling Bins at Buckton Fields

After the issue was brought to the Parish Council’s attention, the Parish Clerk made efforts to identify the responsible organisation and seek their removal.

Following continued engagement, the Parish Clerk has received confirmation

   1. the bins appeared without our prior consent of the landowner/their representatives; and

     2. the landowner/their representatives have instructed a company to remove the bins and clothes.

The Parish Council wish to thank Cllr John Slope (WNC Ward Cllr) for his support in the matter and for raising the issue with the Environmental Crime Team. With the bins due to be removed, it is hoped that no further resources will be required in relation to this matter.

The Parish Clerk should receive confirmation when the bins have been removed, but she does ask that parishioner keep her informed if this does not occur.
