Bins at Buckton Fields West – 03.08.26
The Parish Clerk has spoken with the Property Manager for Buckton Fields, who reported:-
- Since losing the contract for Buckton Fields East (BFE), First Port are struggling to find a reasonable quote for a reliable contractor to empty the bins
- The Clerk supplied the contact details for the contractor who manages BFE. The Property Manager has made contact this morning and hopes to receive their quote in the next few days.
- The Property Manager has raised a PO to have the bins emptied as a matter of urgency.
- The Clerk queried if residents will see increased fees because of the ad-hoc purchase orders. The Property Manager said it will be deducted from the annual maintenance budget
Whilst the Parish Council are happy to assist residents where possible, the Council have no jurisdiction regarding the maintenance of Buckton Fields. Residents are reminding to contact First Port directly via the following:
- Log in directly through the FirstPort My Home Portal to send a message or raise a case online.
- Call customer service at 0333 321 4080 (open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM).
